Hello Barbara, I am new to your website and will be joining your chat this week. Do you have any suggestions for someone who has been laid off after being with a company for 13+ years - and is currently looking for a new Senior Executive Administrative Assistant position? I have been looking for a new position for over 10 months now and I am not having much luck. I would welcome any suggestions you might have. Thank you kindly.

Hello Barbara- I started selling a product this year in the hopes of building a brand. I have a trademark applicated that recently got denied stating similarities to two other brands. I reached out to the two trademark holders and both seemed friendly and willing to help me with an agreement to get my mark. One of the owners hasn't returned my calls after saying he was willing to help me. It's been 3 weeks and I don't want ruin my chances by calling so much that I hurt my chances all together. What should I do? Do I check in or wait or maybe give up on the pursuit? Thanks!

Hello Barbara, I have been a corporate leader for 20 years, and I also started a leadership development company 3 years ago. It’s been so much fun to grow my business and I originally made a 5 year plan for transition. What is a great resource to learn best how to shift from employee to self-employed? I appreciate your help!

Dear Barbara, If you are participating in a 90-day challenge to make a million dollars, what steps will you implement immediately?

I will be there, Barbara, and am looking forward to connecting and learning! Background first and then question: I am building a ghostwriting business and have been very intentional about developing my system and infrastructure. Things are going well and I certainly have proof of concept! (Can you tell I have been following you for a bit?). Most of my clients are coming in at the entry level of writing services that built the foundation of my business and I am happy with this as I responded to the needs to my clients and that served me well. However, my skills and system are ready and I am growing a very small but mighty team of writers and editors. I am 100% referral based and busy. My question: How do I take my company from the initial start-up phase and scale up into the full ghostwriting clients that I initially set out to write for? I seem to be spending my time and energy at this initial stage and keep swirling here. How do I break that ceiling and step onto a bigger stage attracting those clients, or in my case, into bigger books? Thanks so much!
